Fantastic... a couple of years ago I tried many times to get one similar to this that was a golden color, glinting in the sun... my autofocus camera just wasn't up to the task. (I got plenty of chiggers too.)

@Earnest: Thanks Earnest! One trick I use is to poke a stick in the ground near the edge of the water. Place it so it is leaning over the water a bit. If you are still the Dragom flies will come to you and land on the stick. Takes a little patience but it works!
Hi Barry.... lovely shot, it's wings are awesome, like stained glass windows, such detail.

Hi Barry, This has got to be one of the nicest macro of an insect, bug or whatever is very small and hard to capture on photo. Wonderful to look at,
