Gravestone from the 1800's. I thought it was interesting that somebody else had left this flower on a tombstone so badly worn the name was not to be found.

Very nice image, and the selective B&W works well here. Was this taken at the cemetery by lake Livingston or the one by Brian's house?

I like this shot! It might actually be a footstone. Often just the initials of the deceased would be inscribed on the smaller footstone and the full name was found on the headstone or on a family grave marker with other family members' names.

@Julie McLeod: Thanks Julie! You might be right. I was'nt aware of that. This is a graveyard that was lost for years until city officials created a park around it. So many headstones probably sunken or decayed would explain the missing name. Thank you!
